Pregnant women might be interested in the use of CBD based on the fact that is used to relieve anxiety, stress, muscle spasm and many other illness some of which are common in pregnant women as, their body undergoes massive hormonal and physical change which makes them uncomfortable and in pain during that period.

Although, there is no evidence to suggest CBD oil would carry the same risk but it is still an unregulated market and given the lack of clinical data to show safety use of CBD during pregnancy, it is not advisable and safe to use.
Also, during the use of CBD oil, THC can also pass through the placenta causing developmental problems for the baby. With this is in mind it is safe to conclude that any CBD oil that contains significant amount of THC may not be safe for pregnant women.

The CBD oil is made by extracting it from the cannabis plant, then diluting the essence with a neutral oil. It does not get you high like THC which is also from the cannabis plant, that can get you high but the CBD is rather used for it medicinal purposes.

Pregnant women mostly turn towards cannabis to treat morning sickness which often occurs during the first trimester when the foetus is developing cause of the quick result they can get from using it.

Even, some expectant women who have use CBD oil says it has actually helped them handle their morning sickness but because the existing body research is limited, the question of whether CBD oil used during pregnancy is safe or not is subjected to debate and has not legal backing is it still not advisable to use.
